Here is a nice 1971 Gibson SG Custom in a walnut finish. This guitar is serial number 970810. The pot codes read 137 7107. This SG appears to be almost all original. The only thing I see changed on it is the vibrato. Everything else is original on it. This guitar is in very good condition for it's age. It has some wear from being played over the years. Some chips and dings here and there. There are a few light finish cracks but, there are no cracks in the wood on the body. There is an almost invisible peghead crack repair that is very solid. The frets have some wear on them. This guitar has a great sound. I really enjoy SGs they are easy to play and you can get a little more bite out of them than you can most Les Pauls. This SG has a nice slim C-shaped neck and is rather light weight. This SG comes in it's original Gibson case but, as you can see someone painted the Rolling Stones tongue on it. This is a great old guitar you don't want to miss out on!!
