Ventorros de Balerma is a small town within two provinces, as the border where Cordoba and Granada meet runs through this small and pretty village scattered across one of the hills which overlook Lake Iznajar. Facilities in the village include, a supermarket, bakery, bars and a primary school; but it is just fifteen minutes’ drive from both, Iznajar, where you will find services and amenities including a supermarket and small specialty shops, banks, bars and restaurants, as well as a medical centre, and the larger town of Loja, a major regional centre with all services and amenities. The town is less than an hour’s drive to Granada, and approx. 90 minutes’ drive to Cordoba. The coast and the city of Malaga, with its international airport, lay just a 70 minutes’ drive to its south.
