You can feel the sea inside the apartment! The old brick walls and the wooden beams call back to the beginning of the 20th century when Barceloneta was a village of fishermen...The Mediterranean design details have been carefully chosen to stimulate the senses inspired by Roman and Arab tradition.The apartment offers an open living space with a fully equipped kitchen, where you will find everything you need to cook comfortably as if you were at home: - fridge/freezer- oven- four cooking elements- microwave- large dishwasher- double sink- washing machine- coffee machine- toaster- kettle- silverware, glasses, coffee cups, pots, pans, wine glasses, etc.- kitchen towel
In the bedroom there are two single beds (80x200 cm) that can be clipped perfectly together to form a large double bed(a special double mattress 160x200 cm is provided as well). The mattresses are good quality (viscoelastic) to rest easily. There are homy wooden floor boards in the bedroom.There is also a comfortable sofabed (140x200 cm) and a folding dining table with enough space for 4 people, two comfortable chairs and two extra folding chairs.Enjoy a romantic candle lit shower on beautiful turquoise pebbles!Bed linen, high quality cotton towels and hairdryer are provided. Also, I provide: toilet paper, shower soap and dish soap.There is free WIFI connection and a portable AC unit, strong enough for the size of the apartment.Parasols are also provided to take to the beach.You can hung your clothes and beach towels to get dry in the balcony... that is a tradition in Barceloneta.The apartment is situated on the second floor of a quiet street in Barceloneta district. If you want to be near the beach and have a sea view (lateral) this is the one for you. Outside your door, turn to the left and there it is. From the flat's balcony you can also see what's going on there - what great photo opportunities!The closest Metro station is "Barceloneta" (yellow line), 5' walking from the apartment.There are plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets just in the corner. In the Barceloneta Market (2' walking from the apartment) you can find fresh fish and local products.I take guests satisfaction very seriously. I provide suggestions related to where to eat, where to buy the best bread in Barceloneta, where to rent a bike, special shopping or nightlife in Barcelona... It is based on my own experience as a local away from the usual tourist scene. I'm sure that you will love them too! Also, I send you information about directions, public transport and security issues.In addition, I provide a map which shows the closest supermarket, pharmacy, cash machine, bakery, bus stop, subway, garbage containers, shop selling disposible phone, where to buy bus/subway tickets and a bike rental shop. With the 5 km stretch of beaches which start at Barceloneta, Barcelona is the only major European city situated directly on the coast so you don't have to be worried about being away from the center. Everything is within easy walking distance.
