Lake Viñuela is 5 minutes away, there you can hire kayaks, sailboats or quad bikes. Velez-Malaga is the main town of the Axarquia region and is surrounded by avocados & mangos. Periana another interseting village is famous for their "Verdial" olive oil and peaches.
