Corvera village is only 15 mins walking distance with plenty of shops, supermarkets and tapas bars/restaurants. Immediately outside of the golf resort is the beautiful Sierra de Carrascoy, with olive, lemon, orange groves almond trees and wildlife, this is brilliant for hiking and biking. The region has lots of Fiestas all year round, especially at Easter, right through to October, December and January 6 (3 Kings)when Spain celebrates their Christmas. With such a sunny climate you can holiday all year round! The Par 72 18 hole championship course designed by Jose Maria Olazabel, with 3 interlinked lakes, and length of 7475 yards from the back tees. You do not come across many par 3´s of 270 yards, with clubhouse and spa. There are also numerous golf courses in the area.The Corvera / Corvera Golf and Country Club areaThe city of Murcia, 20km/15 min drive, was founded on the site of a Roman colony, with its beautiful Baroque Cathedral, the Casino and Teatro Romano are stunning! Salzillo Museum. Murcia. Almudi Palace, the castle of Monteagudo a fortress from the 11th c. The port of Cartagena is 38km/30min drive, has a Roman Amphitheatre. The stunning Mar Menor and Mediterranean beaches are just 25 minutes drive away are brilliant for children, they also have excellent disabled facilities too.
